/My grandmother
Just to follow on China. Grandparents. It’s not everyday my Grandmother will put on a panda hat, so this one sticks in the books. If I had photos of my other grandparents I would throw them up too. Hands to the past and to my grandfather now passed. I still have his tie and briefcase.

Funnily enough, out of the whole of China, the strangest place I went to was Hooters. The place is pretty incredible and really interesting to actually find out where my family hails from. Respect the past

I’m not referring to this movie exactly, but i’m talking more about film stills in general. They make the perfect pictures. So much to be said. So much to be told. So much to admire. So much to inspire.

This doesn’t really need much. Bikes. Bikes. Bikes. I don’t have a picture of my (recently upgraded) bike, so this one of me working on Ruby’s bike at T-Whites Bikes will have to do. Ps. Thank you Teva.

Even while my own artistic practice is on the d-low, I still have opportunities to keep something going, even if it’s just the smallest little thing like a shoot today I did with Isaac at Qubic or my sisters weird outfits she likes to blog (kidding. half). While on this side, an appreciation for commercial photography and clothes spawn.

Today I’m twenty two. Normally I don’t care for birthdays (no change this year) but i’m going through some things, whilst listening to my favourite song (at the moment) and reminiscent bliss is washing over me in so many ways nothing else can. I’m going to share twenty two things with you. In no particular order, one is not more important than the other. Nor is it more important than something that isn’t mentioned here. It’s just twenty two things i’ve found that I’d like to remember and share with you.
To start? Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl. Obsessing over them for weeks now, over and over again. I’ve had Spectacle on repeat all day and it’s reaching its 134th play as I type this. It’s perfect. Note to someone: play it at my funeral if you’re still alive. Kemp has become my favourite model, she is beautiful. Sean? he speaks for himself. Listen to Spectacle, you’ll understand. Ps. I’m going to make a taxidermy hat like hers. It’s going to be amazing.
