I Was There.

“There are certain religious beliefs, spiritual ideas, that when you die, you have to remember your own death in the momentin the moment of your death, you have to remember all the people that brought you to that, all the people that were most important to you, bringing you to that moment. And essentially that’s what the entire Sideways was, I believe, in the sixth season. The moment that Jack was dying he was being reunited with all the people that had brought him to his death so he could move on to whatever was next. I thought it was pretty beautiful. Very spiritual. I’m not necessarily a religious person.”

Where we’re going… We don’t need roads

/A Sequel To Come!

Porco Rosso: The Last Sortie, would pick up long after Porco flew off to a semi-mysterious fate at the end of the first film; we’d see the flying pig much older, in part to reflect the advanced age of his creator.

goodnight, you princes of maine… kings of new england

Alone Is Okay

I found this looking at thisisweeny. A poem written and performed by Tanya Davis. It’s really quite brilliant, I love it so.

/Dreary Moon. Big Black Delta.

Sometimes you forget the little things. Jonathan Bates always seems to bring it back even when he’s working on something new. Big Black Delta. post-mellowdrone love.

Weekend Movies! Remind me to talk about them okay?

/The Roots x Joanna Newsom, Resampling ‘The Book of Right On’ (click to listen)

/Ballad Of Britney Jean, The Goast Of A Saber Tooth Tiger (click image to watch)

/Sean Lennon – Spectacle (watch here)

I’m completely obsessed at the moment. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat

/Trailer_ It’s Kind Of A Funny Story

Good cast. Typical plot (or so it seems). If this film is washed over in sadness and not your typical comedy, i’m going to like it. It’s like 500 days of Summer- you may have hated it, but didn’t you just think ‘fuck. this is depressing’ (not in a Requiem For A Dream kind of way, but a optimistic falling beauty kind of way).

/The Girlfriend Experience

I was going to write a proper review/synopsis of this, but I’ve been distracted by GOASTT that all feelings towards this movie have faded. The only thing left for you to do is just watch it. Ride the wave, feel the anxiety and stress. Come out faded then listen to Sean Lennon

/The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger

If only I could find more music other than what’s on their myspace. I love Sean Lennon. Kemp is finding her way into my heart just as easily.

/The Girlfriend Experience.

This film genuinely has me a little stressed out. While for the first half I felt like I was watching a documentary, quite disconnected/desensitized to it, it came back as quite an intimate slice in to her decisions on life. Felt like trying to organize a photo shoot again, I take back what I said about a little stressed out- I feel retardedly freaked out and quite worried.

/Back To The Future. Released 25 years ago today.. GREAT SCOTT, it’s still one my favourite movies. There was even a Delorean on trademe last week, I would of bought it if I had 20k..

/Pink Terror by Mike Barz. Found it over at Dirty Tears Fall.
